What to expect (Part I): Based on 2020, and current events we can expect more Trump rallies, which increasingly call for violence, disruption, retribution. Normalizing, prefiguring authoritarianism, dictatorship. States taking up with counterinsurgency operations where Federal programs leave off like Texas, Kentucky- state governments rebel against Federal authority, escalating violence against powerless, social victims, scapegoating of the homeless, LGBTQ, immigrants, abortion access and medical/reproductive freedoms- states requesting medical records, assembling dossiers for persecution also using access to corporate espionage like Facebook, Amazon, twitter, Microsoft, other CIA /NSA contractors, federal Intel partners, use of deadly force by citizens/vigilantes as well as militarized police. States resuming eugenics programs in prisons, torture especially in private prisons; use of contractors for the most vile of the violence. Courts increasingly openly partisan. Police militarization, coordination with the CIA, FBI in blue city fusion centers, increased defense spending. Suppression of blue cities, states increases. Drug warfare increases, mass incarceration for non-violent offenses; Civil rights, activist persecution.
Violence, provocations, state-sponsored violence, detention, malicious prosecution, counterinsurgency warfare operations disguised as “investigations”, division, discrediting, disruption, destruction.
Expect social media manipulation, radicalization algorithms run by US as well as international state actors using big data, AI, data harvesting, election manipulation technology, along with private partners: Facebook, Instagram, twitter, Fox, MSNBC, Microsoft, Washington Post, Google….
Expect disinformation, misinformation, psychological warfare, chaos, confusion, discontent, playing up division, attacks on civil and human rights, rolling back social justice progress, state violence, murder.
Mass incarceration, torture increases- more drug warfare, criminalization of non-violent acts like protest, even calling them “terrorism”;groups on the Left like LGBTQ, environmentalists, civil rights advocates – Partisan torture, disproportionate punishment, warfare not justice, peace, welfare, prosperity, progress. Police gangs, “scorpion squads”, ex ante policing, police gangs, death squads.
Courts, the judicial system are further compromised, pro-corporate, anti-regulatory judicial activism continues from the Federalist Society and other Right wing billionaires, along with full judicial support of police and Intelligence controls. Wide approval of all “investigations” as a “possible security threats”, rubber stamp authority from the FISA court; habeas corpus waived during civil disturbance under martial law, mass detention, prison camps, orphans, disappearances, etc. Unmarked vans, unmarked men with guns in uniform abduct, detain lawful protesters, paramilitary detention camps under secret Unitary Executive Intel/war powers….
You probably can’t count on your elected representatives, especially in Red states, constituent services- demand that your representative begin to develop- and publish constituent services information and beef up their staff, make local contacts with police, district attorneys, legal aid groups, and non-profit civil rights agencies. Make sure you have lawyers numbers, a bail card, and numbers for local civil rights agencies on you person, especially if you plan to demonstrate.
You need to protect yourself from police, vigilantes, provocateurs, informants- even in you own family, neighborhood, at work if you plan on protesting. Pay attention to who is asking you or those close to you a lot of questions, or who seems to have questionable motives, is being divisive, seeking slander, discredit you and those close to you. Anyone pushing drug use or other illegal activity is highly suspect- even if legal on the state level it is not legal federally! It will be used against you! Install outdoor lights, get a dog, form your own neighborhood watch, install local alarms/cameras (not mass surveillance connected to the internet!)
